Interested in Telehealth?
Telehealth ABA therapy offers a convenient and effective way for families to access high-quality services without having a technician in the home. This modality is ideal for children who are comfortable engaging through a virtual platform, and for families who prefer added privacy, flexibility, or minimal in-person contact.

Telehealth services can be delivered as part of parent training, direct sessions with a technician, or a combination of both—providing flexible support based on what works best for your family. Whether you're seeking coaching as a caregiver or direct interaction for your child, telehealth can be adapted to meet those needs.

Prerequisites for Telehealth Success:
Telehealth is most appropriate for children who:
-
Can attend to a screen for short periods of time
-
Are able to follow simple instructions
-
Have basic communication skills (verbal, AAC, or other methods)
-
Require minimal physical prompting or hands-on support

A BCBA will assess each child’s readiness for telehealth and collaborate with the family to determine if this approach is the right fit.

What Telehealth Sessions Look Like:
Depending on your child's goals, telehealth sessions may include:
-
Direct interaction between the child and a technician (e.g., social games, skill-building tasks, interactive lessons)
-
Parent coaching, where the BCBA observes and guides caregivers in real-time as they support their child
-
Use of visuals, screen sharing, and interactive tools to maintain engagement
-
Progress monitoring, data collection, and regular feedback

With the right structure and support, telehealth ABA can be just as impactful as in-person services—empowering families and promoting meaningful progress in a format that fits their lifestyle.
